Citizenship Awards

Every May, Middle School students are recognized for academic achievement, attendance, and character​.  Our Club donates to Portland EAST and Portland WEST Middle Schools to help fund their award ceremonies and a reception for the honored students and their parents.  Typically, one student is selected from each grade at each school; however, Portland West asked for additional student recognition this year.

Leadership Program for 8th Graders

  In 2018 the Portland Rotary Club saw a need to mentor and foster leadership 8th grade students.  To meet this need the club partnered with Circle M Therapeutic Farms to offer a leadership training program.  The first Camp was held Saturday November 3, 2018.
