for free! It’s a great way to experience what Rotary is all about: service,

October 24th is World Polio Day:

Portland Rotary Club Delivers Purple Donuts

to Local Businesses and City Workers

To raise awareness about the ongoing fight against polio, the Portland Rotary

Club will be delivering purple frosted-tipped donuts to local businesses and city

workers.

This small gesture serves as a reminder of how serious polio remains and

highlights Rotary Clubs’ commitment worldwide to protect children from this

devastating disease.

In at-risk countries like Pakistan, Rotarians vaccinate children against polio.

The child's pinkie nail is painted purple to indicate they've received the vaccine.

The purple-tipped donuts shared here in the U.S. symbolize this effort, reminding

us of the critical work being done globally to end polio for good.

Storybook Trail

It's officially open! The storybook trail is open 365 days a year providing children with a fun outdoor activity that helps promote literacy and healthy habits! Special thanks to the Portland City Parks and Rec Dept for installing the posts and maintaining the them!
