Citizenship Awards
Every May, Middle School students are recognized for academic achievement, attendance, and character. Our Club donates to Portland EAST and Portland WEST Middle Schools to help fund their award ceremonies and a reception for the honored students and their parents. One student is selected from each grade at each school.

Leadership Program for 8th Graders
In 2018 the Portland Rotary Club saw a need to mentor and foster leadership 8th grade students. To meet this need the club partnered with Circle M Therapeutic Farms to offer a leadership training program. The first Camp was held Saturday November 3, 2018.The program continued in 2019 and 2020 but has been on pause. We are working on revitalizing it!
