High School Service Projects

Scholarships
The Rotary Club of Portland provides two yearly scholarships to outgoing seniors who demonstrate exceptional citizenship and leadership skills and who desire to further their education to achieve their life goals.

Each spring, local senior high school students are encouraged to submit applications and essays that are reviewed by our members. Winners are rewarded with a $500 scholarship to pursue their ambitions.

This year, in recognition of their hard work and in light of the extraordinary circumstances we are all experiencing, three local high school students were chosen to receive a scholarship.

Congratulations to our 2020 scholars John Ryan Adkins, Addison Carleen Dorris and Emma Dean Gregory!
