
April 16, 2025 we had our annual Four-Way Test Speech Contest, where Portland High School students (grades 9–12) present original speeches addressing ethical challenges using the principles of the Rotary Four-Way Test.
Congratulations Mya Mimbs for winning the Portland 4-way speech contest!
Our club winner will advance to the District Semi-Finals on Saturday, May 10, 2025, held via Zoom. The top three from that round will each win $100 and compete in the District Finals at the District Conference on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at The Lodge at Paris Landing.

Eligibility & Guidelines:
- Open to students in grades 9–12
- Speeches must be 4–6 minutes long and address an ethical issue through all four parts of the Rotary Four-Way Test
- Note cards are permitted, but excessive use may result in deductions
- No props or audience interaction allowed
- Past District winners are not eligible
