Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA)-
Investing in the Leaders of Tomorrow
Each year, our club proudly sponsors students to attend the District 6760 Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) held at Austin Peay State University. This immersive, week-long leadership experience brings together young people from across Tennessee to grow, stretch, and lead in ways they never imagined.
District 6760’s RYLA is more than a leadership camp — it’s a life-changing journey. Participants are encouraged to be “comfortable being uncomfortable” as they work in teams, take on physical and mental challenges, and engage in real-world service project planning. From tackling a ropes course 50 feet in the air to collaborating with strangers to build high-performing teams, students return home transformed — more confident, capable, and connected.
This program is made possible thanks to the dedication of Rotary clubs across the district, Rotarian volunteers, guest speakers, and the committed staff at Austin Peay.

This years RYLA will be held June 10, 2025-June 14, 2025 and we will be sending 11th grader Dalton Simmons and 11th grader Daniel Sloan.
